Today is a beautiful rainy spring day in Seldovia. A little wind, a little sun and here and there some sprinkles of rain.
I am making some homemade soup and finishing up some artwork. I am so glad you stopped by..please get yourself a cup of coffee and join me in my kitchen studio.
I have a regular studio upstairs ...but to tell you the truth..my kitchen table is where I do most of my art....with a cup of coffee and good friends stopping by to chat. Sit down and stay awhile..I am never too busy for company!

29 faces in 29 days
I am trying to post 29 faces in 29 days.....I have done 7 and today is the 9th....I had better hurry.
Wow! These amaze me! I am inspired to create a doll some day, but mine would probably be just a plain 'suffie' toy, LOL! This looks difficult but you are a true craftsman artist! To get so much detail and so small, just wonderful!
I am an Alaskan born artist, living in a small rural alaskan fishing village. I have 6 wonderful children and 15 grandchildren all of whom are bright, beautiful and very talented. I admire anyone who makes handmade items. The traditional crafts that were so important years ago, were beautiful as well as useful.
I also am the oldest of a very large family. 6 brothers and 1 sister....My sister lives in Fairbanks...one brother lives here in Seldovia...one in Tampa...very spread out family....but love them all.
I love this. Some day I will make dolls such as these. Great job.
ReplyDeleteThank you Gloria for stopping by my blog. I hope you do make dolls like this because they are fun to make!
