Today was beautiful and hot for Seldovia. 64*. Who knew it could be this warm in May here in Alaska....in Fairbanks where my sister lives it is 80..yikes! Several forest fires there. We have a low moving in here and the wind is picking up. I am so glad that I worked in the garden today.
I planted onions, potatoes, peas, broccolli....herbs....thyme, marjorum, lemon balm, rosemary....need to get the turnip seeds planted tomorrow....I just wore out today....
I tryed to post a photo here on my blog of the Judith's muse...but they must have changed the way to post a photo as I could not get it to work for me. Maybe tomorrow.
Well I tried the photo thing one more time and got at least one to load. Off to bed...tomorrow I will post more.

Wormie the Bookworm
Modern Technology
Well right now I am talking with my sister Sharon in Fairbanks. She is looking at my photos on this web page.....Wow... Who would have thought this was possible 35 years ago.
Love you Sharon.
Love you Sharon.
Judith's Muse
I haven't asked Judith yet if this Muse will have a name. I really should as Muses are very strong and passionate entities.
I worked late last night and got critiques from the Beginners Polymer Clay Sculpture Group. Ever so helpful. I needed to lower the eyelids and that took awhile because I kept bumping the nose and cheeks....so I had to keep redoing them.
Judith's Muse
The other day at the Craft Fair my friend Judith asked me if I would create a Muse for her. Not just any Muse, but one that is singing and had hands in her lap, as well as having her eyes closed. Hmmmmm....could I really do this. Sounded a little like mission impossible to me, but, never one to shy away from a challenge..... and not feeling especially sharp that day and being in an impoverished state.... I said "yes".
Ok. So. This is where I am. Not as far along as I would want to be, but, certainly not still at the starting gate.
Not bad so far.... still a long way from being done.
