Alaska in December

Alaska in December is cold and dark. It is the seemingly hardest time to get through. I think if you have a hobby it helps.

Mine is polymer clay sculpting and watercolor painting. I hope to share some of my work here on this blog. I am new to blogging and so am learning as I go.

I live in a small Alaskan fishing village. The only way in or out of the village is by plane and only in the daylight hours...or by boat. There are only about 250 people living here in the winter and it feels like a really big safe loving family. My brother's wife calls it my "bubble world" yep she is right..it is....

I am the mother of 6 incredible children, beautiful, smart and talented....all grown now with children of their own.....

Well time to post this to see how it actually works....
